How to advertise a driver or delivery job in Malta

State the vehicle, driving licence, delivery area, schedule and pay for a transport vacancy.

A delivery vacancy needs more than a promise of flexible work. Candidates should understand the vehicle, area, hours and who covers operating costs. A clear advert helps distinguish an employed van driver from a courier arrangement using the applicant’s own transport.

1. Choose the job category and relevant traits

Choose Jobs → Skilled work → Transport and delivery. Job role includes Delivery driver, Courier, Truck driver, Bus driver, Taxi driver, Dispatcher, Logistics coordinator and Forklift operator. Driving licence includes categories such as B, C and CE; select those relevant to the actual vehicle and duties. Transport includes Car, Van, Truck, Motorcycle, Bicycle and Bus. Area offers Malta, Gozo, Both and International. A licence selection alone does not establish that a candidate is authorised for every type of professional driving.

2. Describe the actual role and working conditions

A title could be “Van delivery driver — Malta routes, full time”. Describe typical deliveries, loading tasks, dispatch arrangements and any customer-facing work. Explain whether the company provides the vehicle, fuel and equipment. If the applicant uses their own vehicle, state that clearly and describe how costs and the work relationship are handled.

3. Make the salary and application route clear

Enter pay using the correct period and distinguish fixed earnings from performance-related amounts. Explain shifts, early starts, weekends and travel between Malta and Gozo where relevant. Do not advertise a guaranteed total based on uncertain delivery volume. Keep the job location, delivery area and description aligned.

In the job form, enter Salary from and, if useful, the optional maximum amount. Check Salary period: it defaults to Per year, so change it if you mean an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly amount. Choose the salary currency and Gross / net consistently with the offer. Required languages and Contract arrangement describe the vacancy; they do not run an automated candidate-scoring process. Complete required fields and use Detailed information for optional traits.

4. Review and publish the vacancy

  • Choose the real vehicle and relevant licence categories.

  • State whether the vehicle and operating costs are provided.

  • Explain routes, loading duties and shifts.

  • Separate fixed pay from variable delivery-based earnings.

Sign in and open Post an ad. Add the title, description, workplace location, valid +356 contact number and publication end date within your licence allowance. Submit once and wait for moderation. Applicants using Maltizzi must attach a CV saved in their profile; you can discuss the application and download its attached CV in the application conversation. External application links can point to your genuine recruitment system. Hiring decisions and any employment or work-permit obligations remain with the relevant parties.

Can I advertise work covering both Malta and Gozo?

Yes. Select Both in Area if that is the actual service area and explain travel arrangements, working hours and costs. Do not rely on a single location pin to communicate an island-wide or cross-island route. Candidates should understand the practical arrangement before accepting the role.

Read how to publish a listing and how category filters work. Keep the title, salary and traits consistent. Maltizzi is not a substitute for any official recruitment or permit process, and posting here does not guarantee candidates or search-engine visibility.
