How to advertise a shop or warehouse in Malta

Explain the commercial type, frontage, loading and limitations of a shop, warehouse or workshop.

A shopfront and a warehouse answer different needs despite sharing a commercial category. Retail occupiers may need customer access and frontage; storage businesses may need loading and vehicle access. Describe the particular premises rather than relying on a vague “commercial opportunity” headline.

1. Choose the category and accurate property traits

Choose Property and the commercial category. Commercial type includes Shop, Restaurant, Warehouse, Workshop, Office and Other. Set the actual type and transaction in Rent or sale. Relevant traits include Street frontage, Loading access, ceiling height and storage area. A vehicle stopping nearby is not necessarily loading access to the premises.

2. Describe the actual property and add useful photographs

For example, “Warehouse with loading access in Qormi” or “Street-level shop to rent in Mosta” explains the offer. Describe entrances, storage, stairs, shared facilities and current condition. Give reliable dimensions instead of guesses. Identify included equipment or fit-out separately and do not claim a permitted activity without supporting information.

3. Explain the price and practical terms

State what space the amount covers and its period for rental offers. Explain deposit, service charges and separately priced fixtures, equipment or stock. If work is needed before occupation, disclose that. A low headline figure should not hide mandatory costs or represent a materially different unit.

4. Review and publish the listing

  • Choose the actual commercial type.

  • Describe frontage and loading accurately.

  • Separate premises from equipment or stock.

  • Disclose condition and price terms.

Sign in and open Post an ad. Add your title, description, a valid +356 contact number and a suggested location, then check its map pin. Add at least one genuine property photo and choose the main image. Complete required fields and expand Detailed information for optional traits. Choose a publication end date within your licence allowance, submit once and wait for moderation. Approval is not verification of ownership or planning status.

Does a commercial-type or permit selection authorise a business activity?

No. A catalog selection is advertiser-supplied information, not official approval. Describe the documented position and allow prospective occupiers to check intended use with the competent authorities and advisers before agreeing to use the premises.
