How to advertise holiday accommodation in Malta or Gozo

Describe the actual holiday property, stay conditions, photographs and quoted price without implying instant booking.

A holiday advert should explain the accommodation, sleeping arrangement and what the quoted amount covers. Travellers should not have to guess whether it is for one night, a week or one person. Maltizzi is a listing and contact service, not an instant booking calendar or a payment guarantee.

1. Choose the category and accurate property traits

Choose Property and the holiday accommodation category, property-holiday. Select the rental transaction. Complete the available accommodation details and use the description for information without a dedicated field. Do not assume holiday accommodation has every amenity or property-type selector offered in the residential categories; use the controls the form actually presents.

2. Describe the actual property and add useful photographs

Try “Holiday apartment near Victoria, Gozo”. Describe bedrooms, sleeping arrangements, bathrooms, kitchen access and stairs. Use current photos of the advertised accommodation, not nearby attractions presented as a view from its windows. Explain shared facilities and access limitations. State licensing or authorisation details only when you can substantiate them.

3. Explain the price and practical terms

Identify the period and occupancy covered by the amount. Explain cleaning charges, deposits and other applicable charges, and how availability and the final quote are confirmed. Property uses a total display, so an amount without a period can mislead. A conversation does not instantly reserve dates or confirm a booking.

4. Review and publish the listing

  • Use the holiday category for the actual offer.

  • Explain sleeping arrangements and shared facilities.

  • Identify the quoted period and additional charges.

  • Confirm applicable authorisation before offering accommodation.

Sign in and open Post an ad. Add your title, description, a valid +356 contact number and a suggested location, then check its map pin. Add at least one genuine property photo and choose the main image. Complete required fields and expand Detailed information for optional traits. Choose a publication end date within your licence allowance, submit once and wait for moderation. Approval is not verification of ownership or planning status.

Does a listing replace tourism accommodation licensing?

No. Publication is not a licence or confirmation that official requirements are satisfied. Consult the Malta Tourism Authority short-let accommodation guidance for the applicable process. Keep the advert consistent with the accommodation you are authorised to offer.

See how to publish a listing, category filters and location and radius. Interested people can start a conversation; a message does not sign a lease or complete a sale. Arrange viewings, documentary checks, contracts and payments directly between the relevant parties.
