How to advertise a frontend developer job in Malta

Create a frontend vacancy with clear frameworks, seniority, workplace and salary details using Maltizzi job traits.

A frontend developer advert should tell a candidate what they will build and which skills they will use day to day. A long list of unrelated technologies makes that harder. For a Malta-based role, explain the product, the team and the working arrangement before adding optional technologies that are merely useful rather than essential.

1. Choose the job category and relevant traits

Choose Jobs → Professional → IT and software and the Frontend subcategory. Use Programming languages for the languages genuinely used in the role, such as JavaScript and TypeScript. Frameworks and runtimes includes React, Vue and Angular; select your actual stack rather than all three by default. Use Seniority to distinguish an entry-level role from a senior position. Workplace can show On-site, Hybrid or the applicable remote arrangement. Category traits remain available without creating a separate recruitment-requirements engine.

2. Describe the actual role and working conditions

A useful title is “Frontend developer — Vue and TypeScript, hybrid in Malta”. Explain whether the work concerns a customer-facing website, an internal dashboard or a component library. Describe responsibilities for accessibility, testing and collaboration with designers. Separate must-have experience from skills that can be learned on the job. Do not label a role junior while describing independent responsibility for an entire engineering function.

3. Make the salary and application route clear

State whether the salary is base pay and explain any variable component in the description. If remote work is limited to Malta or another region, reflect that restriction in Workplace and the text; do not select Remote worldwide just because some work happens from home. An external application link should lead to the specific vacancy, not a generic marketing page.

In the job form, enter Salary from and, if useful, the optional maximum amount. Check Salary period: it defaults to Per year, so change it if you mean an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly amount. Choose the salary currency and Gross / net consistently with the offer. Required languages and Contract arrangement describe the vacancy; they do not run an automated candidate-scoring process. Complete required fields and use Detailed information for optional traits.

4. Review and publish the vacancy

  • Match the title to the framework and seniority selections.

  • Explain remote location limits and expected office attendance.

  • State salary period and whether the amount is gross or net.

  • Describe any practical exercise and expected time commitment.

Sign in and open Post an ad. Add the title, description, workplace location, valid +356 contact number and publication end date within your licence allowance. Submit once and wait for moderation. Applicants using Maltizzi must attach a CV saved in their profile; you can discuss the application and download its attached CV in the application conversation. External application links can point to your genuine recruitment system. Hiring decisions and any employment or work-permit obligations remain with the relevant parties.

Should every technology used by the company be a filter?

No. Select the technologies relevant to this position. A candidate should not need to know your entire company stack to understand a frontend role. Explain optional experience separately in the description, and keep the traits useful for people narrowing their search.

Read how to publish a listing and how category filters work. Keep the title, salary and traits consistent. Maltizzi is not a substitute for any official recruitment or permit process, and posting here does not guarantee candidates or search-engine visibility.
