An electrician listing should make its limits as clear as its capabilities. Replacing a light fitting, diagnosing repeated tripping and installing a new electrical system are different jobs. Help customers identify the relevant service without giving them hazardous do-it-yourself instructions. Your advert should describe the work you are competent and authorised to undertake.
1. Choose the category and the work you actually offer
Choose Services → Home repairs → Electrical. Under Work offered, choose the relevant options: Fault finding, Sockets and switches, Lighting, Rewiring, Consumer unit, Inspection or New installations. Other available work includes Outdoor lighting, Smart home installation and Earthing and protection. Premises serviced distinguishes Domestic, Commercial and Industrial. Systems serviced includes Single-phase, Three-phase and Low-voltage systems. Do not select all options simply to appear in more searches.
2. Write a specific title and description
For example, “Domestic lighting and socket repairs in Naxxar” is clearer than “Best electrician Malta”. Describe the fittings and types of fault you handle, what information you need before visiting and any work outside your scope. If you mention qualifications or authorisations, use accurate details you can substantiate. Do not imply Maltizzi has verified credentials just because an advert passed moderation.
3. Explain your price and service area
Explain whether the displayed price covers diagnosis, labour, a specific fitting or a complete defined task. Quote materials and further investigation separately when appropriate. For a fault with an unknown cause, a price to be agreed is more informative than an unexplained low fixed amount. State the towns you attend and any travel charges before the appointment.
4. Check the listing before submitting
Match Work offered to the tasks you actually undertake.
Select the premises and electrical systems you service.
Describe qualifications accurately without platform-verification claims.
Never invite customers to open live electrical equipment for a photo.
Sign in, open Post an ad and complete the required fields. Select a real suggested location, check the pin and provide a valid +356 contact number, or use your saved profile number. Required traits must be completed; optional traits are under Detailed information. Submit once and wait for moderation. An approved listing can appear in the matching search results, but publication does not guarantee enquiries or a Google ranking.
How should I describe an electrical emergency?
State your genuine availability and contact procedure without guaranteeing instant attendance. A directory listing is not an emergency response service. Keep the advert about arranging competent help, not instructions for a customer to investigate a dangerous electrical fault.
For the shared steps, read how to publish a listing, category filters and location and radius. Maltizzi helps people discover and contact independent providers; agree the scope, appointment and payment directly with your customer.
