Customers comparing carpenters need to know whether you make new furniture, adjust existing doors or repair cupboards. A portfolio alone may not answer that. Pair a small selection of genuine work photos with an accurate service description, and use the Maltizzi traits to show the types of carpentry enquiries you can take on.
1. Choose the category and the work you actually offer
Choose Services and Carpentry under Renovation. Work offered includes Custom furniture, Doors, Shelves, Kitchen, Repair, Wall fixing, Adjustment and Other. Select the services you provide rather than every option. If your main work is assembling purchased flat-pack items, the Furniture assembly category under Home repairs may be a closer fit than custom carpentry.
2. Write a specific title and description
An example title is “Cabinet adjustments, door repairs and shelving in Mosta”. Describe whether you undertake bespoke manufacture, onsite fitting or repairs to existing furniture. Tell customers which measurements and photographs help with an initial discussion. For bespoke pieces, explain how materials, finish and final measurements will be confirmed; do not make a firm production promise from incomplete information.
3. Explain your price and service area
Price to be agreed is appropriate when a bespoke item needs design and material choices. A fixed total should have a defined scope, while an estimated range should explain what may change it. State how site visits, materials, delivery, fitting and additional alterations are handled. Keep private access details out of the public advert.
4. Check the listing before submitting
Choose the carpentry work you actually offer.
Distinguish bespoke manufacture, repair and simple assembly.
Explain measurement and material approval steps.
Use genuine photos and avoid disclosing customer interiors without permission.
Sign in, open Post an ad and complete the required fields. Select a real suggested location, check the pin and provide a valid +356 contact number, or use your saved profile number. Required traits must be completed; optional traits are under Detailed information. Submit once and wait for moderation. An approved listing can appear in the matching search results, but publication does not guarantee enquiries or a Google ranking.
Can I offer repairs as well as new furniture?
Yes. Select Repair alongside the relevant furniture-related services and describe the difference. Explain any limitations on damaged materials or replacement components. A specific repair description is more useful than claiming that every piece of furniture can always be restored.
For the shared steps, read how to publish a listing, category filters and location and radius. Maltizzi helps people discover and contact independent providers; agree the scope, appointment and payment directly with your customer.
